LITTLE LOVE BITES was born out of a deep love for food, nature, and a gentle way of living. It's my humble effort to bring the vitality of the Island to the heart of the city.
Amidst the chaos of the pandemic lockdown of 2020 and being confined to Penang, I decided to embark on a creative journey by starting to experiment with food art. It’s a fun, loving adventure of creating food.
With an eye for detail and a passion for creativity, I took time and effort to carefully craft my plates of food to look vibrant and eye catching. During this time, I was inspired to look inward and invest in self growth. I signed up for a few intensive online MasterClasses. One of them was a six-phase meditation course. Through one of my meditations, a fresh idea flashed through my mind. As a result, I became greatly inspired to share my ‘foodart‘ with others.
When interstate travel restrictions were eased, I launched a week-long passion project in Kuala Lumpur. The response overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations. I started receiving random calls from strangers & new customers requesting for my cheese platter / charcuterie boards. This all occured within the same week. It took me by surprise as I did not have a business plan yet and was barely operating the business.
Little Love Bites was a spur of the moment trial idea for a week. It turned me into an accidental entrepreneur overnight. As of recent, I have been granted and thankful for opportunities to curate for very well known & celebrated individuals.
Respect. Sustainability. Authenticity. I believe deeply in all of these values, and they are part of everything I do - from the places where I source ingredients, to the way I treat my employees and our customers. We are all in this together, and knowing that brings respect to everything we do.
